Each provider has a default model and, under Change models, a model per task: course outlines, lessons and quizzes. One provider is the default. The Usage log keeps a row per draft with the provider's token counts, so the bill is never a surprise. Each author may draft ten times a minute, and if a provider runs out of credit the AI buttons pause for an hour.
